This is one of the most special rings in my store. IT will not be easy to describe. I will do my best. Totally hand made 1920's Platinum setting, pierced filigree work, hand engraving and pierced scroll work, small bead set diamonds, all original roaring 20's style. The most special part is the center stone and how it is set. Natural genuine untreated Aquamarine in emerald cut shape with definite Asscher style cutting influence. The color of the stone is white and clear and bright with just a hint of blue. This gives it more of a diamond like appearance than anything else. The setting has scroll work and a reflector plate that makes this as impressive and sparkly as any ring in my store. Near colorless Aqua's like this are very very rare. We are excited whenever we find one to offer for sale. This is a world class jewel. This is on display in our Stamford, Ct showroom. This is worth a trip from anywhere to see. 6 round diamonds approx. total weight .12cts. 1 modified emerald cut Aquamarine approx. total weight 8.17cts, 15 x 10.5mm.
