Giving Back to the Community
Peter Suchy is not just a respected jeweler with an eye for exquisite vintage pieces — he is also a philanthropist who believes in giving back. He serves on the board of STARelief and Pet Assistance, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that brings together volunteers and resources to help families keep their pets through uncertain economic times.
Three Ways STARelief Helps
Every gift goes toward keeping beloved pets healthy, fed, and at home with the families who love them.
-
Aid-A-Pet Fund
Enables sick pets to receive the veterinary care their owners cannot afford on their own.
-
Pet Food Pantry Fund
Helps pay for the kibble and food that keeps family pets healthy when the budget can't stretch to include them.
-
General Operating Fund
Provides the everyday supplies needed to keep animals in their families' homes — and out of the shelters.
No Pet Should Go Hungry
Financial hardship can strike a family suddenly. STARelief's volunteers work to keep resources on hand for those in need — because every companion animal deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion and respect. Volunteers also partner with local rescue groups, hosting adoption events at the High Ridge Shopping Center in Stamford to match adoptable animals with loving homes.

Will You Help?
A Little Goes a Long Way
It doesn't take a lot of money to make a big difference. If enough people give even a little, it adds up to the funds these loving pets and their owners depend on. Join Peter in supporting STARelief and Pet Assistance.
